MassTLC UnConference

On Friday (November 16th) I attended the MassTLC Unconference in Boston and it was AMAZING!  It's a must-do if you're an entrepreneur in the Boston area.

If you're not sure what an unconference is, this is a great resource for understanding what they are and how they work.  I really like the layout of the unconference, especially because this one had the Two-Feet Rule.  This means that if you don't like the session you're in, you can get up and head to another one - and no one would mind!  This is particularly useful when there are two sessions happening at once, and you want to go to both!

Over the next few days, I'll post my notes from a few of the sessions!  I got to meet some inspiring people who helped me not only with my business ideas, but product management   The thread that came out of the sessions I attended was that building relationships with people, whether your customers or the media (to promote your product/service) is key.  I think with the advent of Twitter, Facebook and blogs we've lost sight of the value of face-to-face interaction.  We should all have a resolution this year to have more face-to-face interaction with the people we tweet, like and follow!

I'll get off my soap box for now!  Stay tuned for notes...
